Ather is gearing up to unveil the most potent addition to its scooter range, the Ather 450 Apex, set to launch on January 6. This iteration promises a more robust motor within a design that closely resembles its predecessor. Teased on social media, the Apex showcases transparent side panels reminiscent of those first introduced in the Series 1 scooter. While details about the motor remain undisclosed, Ather confirms the use of the same 3.7 kWh battery pack as the 450X. Adding to its versatility, the Apex will introduce a new Warp+ mode alongside the standard Eco, Ride, and Sport modes. Embracing a stubby bobber-style tail section, a less inclined front fork at 25.3 degrees, and darkened hardware, the Shotgun 650 exudes a fiercer aesthetic. Retaining the 648cc air-cooled parallel-twin engine from the Interceptor, Continental GT, and Super Meteor, delivering 47 hp and 52.3 Nm of torque, the Shotgun’s powertrain remains consistent. While internal engine components remain unaltered, Royal Enfield has fine-tuned final drive ratios to complement the Shotgun’s unique character. Equipped with standard features inherited from the Super Meteor 650, including LED lighting, a USB charging slot, a digital-analog instrument cluster, and the option to integrate the Tripper Navigation system for Bluetooth connectivity and turn-by-turn navigation. Managing braking duties are a 320 mm front disc and a 300 mm rear disc with dual-channel ABS, while suspension is handled by Showa USD forks at the front and pre-load adjustable dual shock absorbers at the rear.
Honda NX500
Honda has unveiled the NX500, a fresh entry into the middleweight adventure tourer segment, essentially a revamped CB500X for the 2024 lineup.
